Firefighters have an instrumental impact on people’s lives. They put themselves at risk every day to extinguish fires that are dangerous and often life threatening. Our society looks to them as heroes, men and women who will selflessly do anything for their community.
While Philadelphia personal injury lawyer Jeff Rosenbaum knows how appreciative our society is to the men and women who serve, he recognizes that no one can be more influenced by these firefighters than their children. A parent’s occupation plays a major role in a child’s life, so we want to hear from them. We are offering a $3000 student scholarship to a college student of a firefighter who can embody what is its like to grow up with your parent in this occupation.
Participants are asked to write a 500+ word essay answering the prompt, How has your parent being a firefighter influenced your life?
Please submit all entries to firstname.lastname@example.org. The lawyers at Rosenbaum & Associates will then select the top essay that best represents how the candidate’s firefighting parent has influenced his or her life.
